Hi! I’m Kayla, the mama behind Little Blossoming Mind—a space dedicated to gentle parentingMontessori at home and embracing slow, mindful family living.

I live in Australia with my beautiful little boy (who I lovingly refer to as Cloud here online ✨). Becoming a mum has been the biggest, wildest, and most rewarding journey—and this blog is my way of sharing that journey with you.


Why I Started This Blog 🌱

Like many new mums, I found myself craving two things:

👉 A creative outlet to process and share my parenting journey
👉 A way to build an income from home so I don’t have to rush back to traditional work

With a background as a chartered accountant (hello, Big 4 and mid-tier firm life 👋) and experience running my own small business (cheese toasties, anyone? 😅)—I’ve always had an entrepreneurial itch.

But motherhood shifted my focus. I became obsessed with learning about child development, psychology, Montessori, and gentle parenting techniques.

And as a self-proclaimed Canva nerd and bookworm, I wanted to create a space that’s both aesthetic and practical, offering parents resources, routines, and emotional support tools—all with a sprinkle of creativity.

  • I once ran a cheese toastie business before maternity leave changed my path.
  • Cloud keeps me on my toes daily… and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
